Parking Permits
Students are issued one parking decal free of charge. If a student loses his/her parking decal a replacement decal may be purchased from the Admissions Office after a replacement fee of $8.00 has been paid to the Business Office. Students must display parking decals in their vehicles from the rearview mirror and must park in designated student parking areas. Students may not be able to park in a lot directly adjacent to their classroom building; therefore, students should allow ample time to park and walk across campus before the start of their classes.
Security guards patrol campus to enforce parking regulations and to assist with vehicle problems. Campus security issues tickets for illegally parked vehicles, including those parked in reserved or restricted areas or on campus lawns. If a ticket that includes a fine is issued, a Hold will be placed on your student account until the fine has been paid to the STC Business Office. Students who receive tickets must pay their fines before registering for classes, receiving grades or transcripts, or graduating.
For a complete list of parking regulations, violations, and fines please refer to the section on Traffic and Parking Regulations within the Catalog and Student Handbook.
Click here to print the Parking Registration form. To avoid long lines on New Student Orientation Day, you may bring the completed form in at any time (before New Student Orientation Day) to receive your parking decal. Students are also encouraged to have their Student ID taken at this time. If you do not have access to a printer, forms will be available on new student orientation day at the college.
